Featured Book: Sentenced to Shakespeare

For book clubs interested in selecting Sentenced to Shakespeare as a read, the following are suggested discussion topics:

1.     Do programs like the one fictionalized in Sentenced to Shakespeare really help?

2.     What do we do with teen bullying? How do we combat it? Also, were you ever bullied as a child? What was the outcome?

3.     What were your thoughts on Leah's family? Do you feel they were indirectly responsible for

what happened to Leah?

4.     What were your thoughts on the other teens that were in the Shakespeare program with Leah? Who was your favorite character in that group and your least favorite?

5.     How did you feel about the resolution of Leah's story in Sentenced to Shakespeare? Did you find it satisfying or not?
